Morgan Williams grew up in a household filled with music. The first day after graduating high school he went to the local college radio station and immediately went on the air (only because the afternoon DJ didn’t show up!) That was the summer of 1982. While at WXCI he partnered with Kirk Michaels and formed Sound Investment DJ Service. The duo went on to play at numerous school dances, parties, proms and even hosted the KC101 Saturday Night Dance Party, live on the air from Toad’s Place in New Haven.
Morgan’s work with audio visual began in the early 90’s. He was an event technician in Stamford and Greenwich Connecticut. He set up and operated LCD projectors, video switchers, microphones and mixers for meetings at corporations like PepsiCo and GE Capital. He worked special events for Vanity Fair Magazine and The Party Planner David Tutera at places like the American Museum of Art and The Botanical Gardens in New York.
Fast forward to the year 2000. Morgan relocated to Baltimore/DC to further his career in A/V, while continuing to DJ. He is called on for his skills and exceptional, professional service by award winning DJ companies for their exclusive weddings and events. He has DJ’d special events at Johns Hopkins, weddings at the University of Maryland and exclusive country clubs on Maryland’s Eastern Shore and the Washington Club in downtown DC. His name is on file with the US White House Social Secretary as a potential DJ, and awaiting their call.
In the meantime, Morgan continues to meet with brides, grooms and other potential clients that are anxious to reserve a date. Some send deposits a year and a half in advance, others have been busy and confirm just 3 to 6 months out.
